Landon is so smart. And I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom. When he wants to do something, he does it. Whether I like it or not. This morning I stripped off his pajamas down to his diaper for bathtime. He opened one side of his diaper and I quickly put it back down. "Leave that on, Landon" I said. I went to run the bath and left him in his crib. I returned to quite a mess. He had removed his diaper and there was poop all over the sheet. Good thing today was laundry day! I chuckled about that all day long. My good friend Christie came over with her baby girl who is almost a month older than Landon. We had a fun time together sharing toys and watching the babies drool and giggle. Our eventful day ended with a stroll around the temple.

The Novelty of Blogging
I did it. I am now a bonafide blogger. How exciting. Well, today I cleaned the house and organized the bookshelf. Landon and I shared some laughter and he exercised his vocal chords with very energetic squealing. I shared lunch with my visiting teacher and learned what I need to do to fulfill my new calling as part of the Compassionate Service Committee. This evening we went to the ward ice cream social right outside of our apartment. The weather is lovely right now. Landon fell asleep in Bishop Hicks' arms and it made the cutest picture. Right now I am attempting to decorate our bedroom. Our bedspread is black and white swirly flowers. I don't know how to dress up the bare walls. I know we need to get a temple picture in there but I'm not sure what else. Suggestions? Ok, that is all for tonight. I sincerely hope my future blogs will be more entertaining, for your sake.
